Dr. Manoj Gonuguntala

Dr. Manoj Gonuguntala is currently working as Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer, Shell Technology Centre, Bangalore. Dr. Gonuguntla comes with nearly two decades of extensive industry experience with specialities in Material selection subsea, onshore pipelines and facilities- oil and gas industry, Corrosion modelling, Corrosion control and management, Integrity management, Risk Based Inspection, Root cause analysis, Interfacial science. He obtained MTech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University Chennai in 2001 and subsequently received his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in 2006.

Dr. Gonuguntla was nominated as member of BoG, IIT Kanpur by the Chairperson of the Council of IITs for a period of three years with effect from November 17, 2021.
