Shri Pradeep Goyal

Shri Pradeep Goyal, Founder Chairman & Managing Director, Pradeep Metals Limited, Navi Mumbai. Mr. Goyal founded Pradeep Metals Limited in 1983 which is one of the most prominent companies in the Indian forging metal industry.

Mr. Goyal is a well-known metallurgical industrialist, who graduated from IIT Kanpur in 1978 and then obtained his Master’s degree in Material Science & Engineering from M.I.T., Cambridge, USA 1980. Mr Goyal also established a state-of-the-art research centre ‘Industrial Microwave Research Center’ (IMRC). The center is dedicated to developing microwave-based environment friendly technologies for saving energy and improving process efficiency. IMRC is recognized as an “In-house R&D unit” by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research.

Mr. Goyal was nominated as member of BoG, IIT Kanpur by the Chairperson of the Council of IITs for a period of 3 years with effect from November 17, 2021.
