Applications are invited for the following temporary & contractual post to work as Project Engineer in the project "Facility Management of Computer Labs".

Post: Project Engineer (01)

Minimum Qualification and Post Qualification Experience: B. Tech (CS/IT) + 03 years experience

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

• Over 05 years of IT experience in higher education institutes.
• Experience in managing large computer labs with large number of specialized application software
• Update/modify/install software/patches on a large number of computers in a short time via scripting/cloning or other techniques
• Experience in project management, team handling of technical professionals, and ability to multi-task.

Nature of work:
The candidate’s tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Providing entire IT-related support in Computer labs having approximately 550+ Computers of various labs and coordinate with technical staff.
• Coordinate with the lab-in-charge/ head of the department for any upgradation related to the hardware, software, or lab infrastructure, etc. and update any major issues related to the Lab in-charges.
• Coordinating with lab-in-charges, lab-instructors, and other user groups to understand and implement technical/software requirements and providing technical support during lab sessions
• Installation and maintenance of specialized engineering application software.
• Resolving problems of Faculty and Students regarding the operating system and application software.
• Ensure timely opening and closing of the labs as per schedule and manage online lab reservation portal and booking of labs.

Salary: Rs. 26400-2200-66000 per month based on qualification and experience

Duration of appointment: one year or date of expiry of project, whichever is earlier (maybe extended based on performance and requirement).
