Mr. Kamalesh Dwivedi (BT/EE/1979) is the President and General Partner at 3Lines Venture Capital based out of Denver, USA. His current investment interests span over a broad spectrum of technology in early stage Startup companies in USA and India.

Mr. Dwivedi has been CIO of several major corporations such as Computervision, Scientific Atlanta, ADC Telecommunications, TeleTech Holdings in the US and Bellsystem24 in Japan in their transformative phases. As a CIO, he has been a member of C-Level teams which enabled multi-billion dollars return in portfolio companies of global Private Equity firms. Enabling growth and turnarounds in large corporations and mentoring employees have been the most exciting and rewarding professional experience.

Mr. Dwivedi holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Kanpur, an M.Eng. from Carleton University and has completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) from Harvard Business School. Currently, he resides in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Prof. Anish Upadhyay, Department of Material Sciences & Engineering, research interests include Powder metallurgical processing of materials with emphasis on sintering. He is the Recipient of many awards and fellowships such as Metallurgist of the Year Award (2009), P.K. Kelkar Research Fellow (2009-2012), INSA Young Scientist of the Year (2004), Young Metallurgist of the Year (2003) and INAE Young Engineer Award (2002). He completed B.Tech from IIT BHU in 1994, and MS and PhD from Penn State University.

Prof. Yogesh M. Joshi, Department of Chemical Engineering, research interests are in the fields of structure and dynamics of colloidal glasses and gels, soft matter, Rheology of complex fluids and polymer nanocomposites. His research team engages in multidisciplinary research on "molecular phenomena that is responsible for the flow behavior," specifically the rheological behavior of discotic nematic suspensions. He earned his doctorate from IIT Bombay in 2001.
