Dr. Gurmukh D Mehta is a Senior Scientist and Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for more than two decades. SAIC is the largest employee-owned research and engineering company in the US, providing Information Technology, Systems integration and eSolutions to commercial and government customers.
Dr. Mehta obtained his BE in 1967 from Guru Nanak Engineering College, Punjab University. He subsequently went on to complete his M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1969. He later earned his doctorate at Brown University in 1974.
Dr. Mehta has been helping the US Navy in the development, upgrade, testing and simulation of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles for over 20 years. He is the Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and International Executive Advisor and past Chairman of the ASME Washington DC Section.
