Dr. Rajeeva Lahri is the Vice President, Mobility & Wireless Business Unit at Global Foundries since 2016. He has more than two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing primarily on technology and operations.
Dr. Lahri did his MSc in Physics and M.Tech in Material Science from IIT Kanpur in 1975 and 1976 respectively. He then earned his doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He was associated with Intersil Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance analog semiconductors, as a CTO and Executive VP of Worldwide Operations. He played an instrumental role in transforming Intersil into a high-performance analog products company with significant improvement in operating performance. Dr. Lahri's industrial experience involves serving in many technologies and operational leadership positions, such as Senior VP of Technology and Operations at Elantec (acquired by Intersil Corp), Deputy CTO of Philips Semiconductors, and Senior VP of Corporate Technology for VLSI Technology Inc (acquired by Philips).He held various management and technical positions in National Semiconductor and Hewlett Packard.
