We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic person for temporary positions in the project on “System Identification and Math Model Development for Naval Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (NRUAV)” sponsored by DRDO. This project is unique and futuristic involving technologies in system identification, flight dynamics modeling, instrumentation of UAVs, ground and flight testing.

If you want to be a part of this challenging research and technology development initiative on unmanned helicopters at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur, you are encouraged to apply for the following positions.

Project Associate One Rs. 15000 -1500- 30000

Qualification: B.Tech / BE in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering

Essential: Knowledge of system ID and familiarity with CIFER

Desirable: Helicopter dynamics

Project Associate One Rs. 15000 -1500- 30000

Qualification: B.Tech / BE in Aerospace / Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Essential: Knowledge of conventional model helicopter remote controlled flying

Desirable: Instrumentation of UAV systems, autopilots such as PIXHAWK.

If any candidate is found suitable for lower or higher position based on qualification and experience, he may be considered for that position. All positions are till Feb 2018 and likely to be extended. Higher starting salary may be considered for suitable candidates.
