Applications are invited for a Senior Research Fellow position at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

Project description: The project is in the area of network dynamical systems and mathematical biology. Our research interests focus on emergent properties of networks, cell fate decisions, cell migration and non-genetic tumor heterogeneity. Minimum Qualification:

• PhD (including thesis submission) or master’s plus two years of relevant experience in Mathematics or B.Tech. plus three years of experience in Computational biology, Bioengineering, Biophysics.
• Ability to work in new areas.
• Proficient in C/MATLAB/Python/R.

Salary: ₹42,000 + HRA (as per norms), per month.

Term of the appointment: The appointment will be purely temporary and contractual for one year and extendable to three years or till the availability of the funding.
