Applications are invited from candidates for the Post of Program Manager in Students’ Placement Office (SPO), IIT Kanpur on purely temporary and contractual basis. Appointment is initially for a period of one year and may be extended based on performance & project status.

Consolidated Salary Structure: Rs. 50000

Minimum Qualification & Post qualification Experience: CA/ICWA/CS Or Post graduate degree + 5 years of relevant experience Or Graduate degree + 8 years of relevant experience at appropriate level.

Desirable Experience: A postgraduate in management, prior experience in student training/workshops and experience in Toastmasters club activities are preferred.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders and students regarding the operation of the Toastmasters Club, and handle budgeting and accounting for the club.
  • Implement, promote, and supervise the Toastmasters Club at IIT Kanpur.
  • Create awareness among the student community, encourage students to join the club, and mentor them on the communication and leadership programs provided by Toastmasters International.
  • Maintain an accurate student database to ensure smooth functioning of the club and its day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor club activities and prepare reports.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the competent authority.

Duration of Appointment: Appointment is initially for a period of one year and may be extended based on performance & project status.

Age limit: Maximum 45 years.
