Kanpur, July 2, 2023: Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), the technology business incubator of IIT Kanpur, has launched its Hindi Publication Division, dedicated to sharing groundbreaking work in innovation. The Hindi Division aims to make SIIC IIT Kanpur's innovative efforts accessible to a wider audience. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur, and Deputy Director Prof. S Ganesh. Prof. Ankush Sharma, Professor-in-Charge, SIIC, IIT Kanpur; Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, CEO, SIIC & AIIDE-CoE, IIT Kanpur; Professor Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, Co-Professor-in-Charge, SIIC, IIT Kanpur; and Mr. Piyush Mishra, COO & CFO, SIIC, IIT Kanpur, were present on the occasion.

The creation of the Hindi Publication Division has a primary objective of minimizing the language barrier in accessing technical information related to the startup ecosystem and innovation. Its main purpose is to offer a platform that would enable non-English speakers to readily access and comprehend technical knowledge. Additionally, it strives to foster the growth of technical translation efforts and facilitate the widespread dissemination of technical knowledge, thereby effectively bridging the language gap. By aligning with The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, this initiative aims to make technical knowledge more accessible by imparting it in Hindi.

SIIC IIT Kanpur has consistently been at the forefront of groundbreaking advancements, driving the transformation of ideas into successful ventures. The Hindi Division will serve as a dedicated platform for the dissemination of information about SIIC IIT Kanpur's innovative projects, cutting-edge research, success stories of startups, and entrepreneurial endeavors.
