Kanpur, November 24, 2023: The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur collaborated with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to showcase its innovation capabilities at the World Congress 2023 of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) in Durban, South Africa. The showpiece event witnessed the transformative prowess of five Indian start-ups incubated at SIIC, IIT Kanpur, highlighting India's technological advancements on a global platform. India showcased its technological advancement and emphasized its commitment to promoting a supportive environment for startups with financial inclusion policies. The delegation was led by Mr. Sudatta Mandal, Deputy Managing Director of SIDBI, the delegation included key figures in India's entrepreneurial ecosystem, namely; Mr. S.P. Singh, Chief General Manager at SIDBI; Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of SIIC, IIT Kanpur; and Mr. Ankit Saxena, Assistant Vice President of Investments at SIIC, IIT Kanpur.
