The office of the Dean of Digital Infrastructure and Automation caters the following services to the campus community:

The computer centre provides high-end supercomputing infrastructure and software support required for the research and development activities of the institute. The centre has four data centres and hosts three supercomputers. Supercomputers are serving 24x7 to more than 400 users comprising students, postdocs, faculty and other researchers. The email services are used by more than 13000 users.
Computer labs with about 400 computers are routinely used by the students and faculty for teaching and research. A dedicated website development and maintenance team is available. Computer centre also support for various software and support for several specialized research and general use by the campus.
The institute has fully a managed LAN for more than 25000 nodes, connecting all the hostel rooms, offices, and residence over wired as well as wireless network. It has 10+2 Gbps connectivity to the internet via different service providers including NKN. Single sign-on facility for seamless Wi-Fi connectivity within the campus and Eduroam for visitors.
The centre functions round the clock on a state-of-the-art Data Centre divided into multiple zones that host compute and other servers, parallel clusters for different projects, office automation services, and soft-switch telephony services.
The office automation caters to entire campus community, from academic services (registration/add-drop etc.), leave applications, and to house-hold complaint management services.
