Applications are now open for Walk-in Interviews for PhD admission Programme (July 2024) at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
Note: (Only those candidates who were not considered for a PhD position in the regular admission of summer 2024 will be eligible to apply)
Dates & links:
- Deadline for submitting applications: 4th July, 2024 (till 5pm)
- Notification to the Shortlisted Candidates for Admission Test: 5th July, 2024
- Date of Admission test (shortlisted candidates): 09th July, 2024 at 2PM Lecture Hall 15, IIT Kanpur
- Interviews to be held (via offline mode): 10th July, 2024 at IIT Kanpur
PhD applicants must arrange for two letters of reference sent directly to dpgc_che@iitk.ac.in before the deadline.

General Information
1. Reservations [EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/DAP] shall apply as per Government of India (GoI) norms.
2. The relevant details about the application may be found as follows:
3. Students who are in the final year of their programme (likely to finish the programme by July 26, 2024) may also apply and secure provisional admission for the session commencing in July 2024 (2024-25-I Semester).
4. Financial support (Institute Assistantship/Scholarship) will be provided to non-sponsored PhD, MTech, M.Des and MS (By Research) students.
5. Those employed in industry or a college/university/institute may apply for admission as sponsored, external or part-time candidates.
