The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Research (AIDAR) Laboratory is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, led by Prof. Nishchal K. Verma. The lab focuses on research in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Cyber Physical Systems, etc. The goal is to develop innovative technologies and tools to address complex real-world problems, particularly where traditional approaches fall short. In parallel with theoretical research, applications like Future Image Frame Generator using smart devices, Vision-based Inventory Management Systems, Vision-based Automated Guided Vehicles, and Deep Learning in BioInformatics, Image Classification, and Condition-Based Monitoring are being developed. Additionally, a Transducers and Instrumentation Virtual Laboratory has been set up for undergraduate students to conduct both online and offline experiments to better understand transducers and related instruments.
The AIDAR Lab invites applications from bright and passionate 3rd/4th year B.Tech.
